Tiruchirappalli airport officials in Tamil Nadu found a newborn girl inside a bag near a dumpster on Tuesday.

Commuters called the cops after hearing noises from the area and realized it to the sound of a crying baby.

After inspecting the area, the Trichy airport police found the baby inside a yellow bag.

Onlookers were shocked to find the newborn with the umbilical cord still attached.

The baby was given first aid and was immediately admitted to a child care home.
